Let's Talk Outfits!
+ what you wear will depend largely on what you want to do at your session, the purpose, of the session, the season, who will be with you, and the "feel" you are going for.
+ I am not in the business of "telling" you what to wear, I want you to feel like YOU, I want these memories to be something YOU cherish.
+ SO First, Choose something you feel COMFORTABLE and CONFIDENT in! Dressy OR casual. Maybe both! (usually something you can freely move in!) Something that represents you well.
+ Think of the season, for example, in winter the warmer the better! Flowy clothes in the hot sweaty months. (but always feeling comfortable is important)
+ Im all about making you know how beautiful you are, but most of us truly are our own worst critics. If you have an area of your body you are normally self conscious about, make sure to wear clothing that doesn't make you feel like you are highlighting that area. While other people do not see what you see, we tend hyper focus on our flaws and I just want you to feel your best.
+ If for a family shoot, Sometimes choosing one persons outfit and building from there helps. Usually, I recommend choosing an outfit for the most difficult to dress person first (I am the most difficult in my family!)
+If dressing for a branding or senior session, choose outfits that represent you or your brand!
+ Choose colors you love. Mix and match colors, textures, and patterns!
+ Remember this is just a guide, change it up if you’d like!
+ think of what “feel” you want with your session, moody? Fun? Calm? Outfits colors help with that! Colors neutrals to fun and bright, tell a little about who you are! I am here to help
+ it also helps to think of where your session will be. What colors will be there, is it edgy in the city, calming, in the spring or summer, winter or fall?
+ If indoor: the color you wear could reflect on your face or the faces of those with you! That doesn't always happen but more neutral tones as opposed to super bright colors can have an advantage! BUT I also love fun colors so this is not an end all be all.

Some Things to steer away from
+ Extremely small patterns like super tiny dots or lines that are difficult to see from further away, they can distort in the camera.
+graphic tees or large logos on shirts (though sometimes needed for the vibe of the session or for branding of course!! etc)
+clothing that is restrictive, extremely tight or makes you feel not confident, unable to move etc.
+An outfit you chose five seconds before leaving for your session (prep in advance and bring an extra outfit for me to help you decide if you need!! I am totally someone who would fall into choosing an outfit right before I go so.. I get it haha let me help!)
+extremely wrinkled clothing.
+everyone wearing the exact same color or pattern, though there are exceptions! For example of an exeption: when the fam all chooses flowy linens/whites and creams, that's dreamy. But if everyone wheres the same exact plaid shirt it could blend together in photos.
+Attire that doesn't match the weather (not enough warmth, not cool enough)
there are always exceptions for sure, but these are some things to think on!
