READ THE GOODS


1. My goal is for you to enjoy your session and have fun! I want you to almost forget I’m taking your picture so I can capture those authentic moments but also photograph those magical moments in your space and place!


2. My style is candid based, especially at home, but I will gently pose you with prompts and make sure you are represented well! I will get a few of those lovely smiling shots of course too if you fancy


3. When children are present, prepare them for the session by making it like an adventure, something to be treasured! Say things like "we are going to do something fun together today, we are going to get photos taken at home and celebrate us and our home!" During the session, be quick to laugh, hold them close, don't be afraid of any seeming "misbehaviors" I am a mom too and get it, and I am sure they would rather be doing other things! But that is why it's important to make it fun with them! In those moments get on their level if they're insisting on laying on the floor, lay with them cuddle them close, if they're being silly be silly too! Soon the session will become about the things you wish to remember and not just appearances, and that is what is all about!!


4.If you are a couple at the session, use this as a moment to make memories together, not just a chore, think of things you love about the person in front of you!


5.Something fun to do is aways welcome at the session and especially helpful for kids! Eat cookies, decorate the tree, bundle up and play outside, look at old photos, read a book, play a game, cook together, dance in the kitchen, just have fun! Anything! I very much go with the flow and make the session enjoyable!


5.If it is just you for photos, let me help you get comfortable in your own skin. YOU are beautiful just as you are, and I will get all your best angles and get the confidence rolling!


6.Requests for special photos are always welcome when attainable! However, no photo is guaranteed due to the nature of a photo shoot or if opportunities are missed, Share More Studios is not liable.


7. I will help with any outfit decisions, if you need, annnnd there is a starter guide below too specific to your session!


8. Your session time will be 15-20 minutes for a short and sweet or up to an hour for a full life session.


9. Your gallery will be delivered via link through Pixieset with full download instructions and access to purchase prints from my print lab!


10. Photos taken during your session may be used on Share More Studios web/print platforms, but if you are not comfortable with this, let me know! 


11. All photos in the gallery are final as agreed upon by the payment of the session. Any wish for additional photos beyond the delivered gallery will be an extra fee per photo.


12.You may use your photos on social media platforms, but I kindly ask, do not screenshot photos from gallery, put filters over top of images, or crop/edit your images drastically from your gallery. This represents a false quality of my work.


13. Images are taken and edited to the creative discretion of Share More Studios. Raw photos are not given under any circumstances ( I like you to have a perfectly finished photo!)


14. The client is responsible for the downloading and keeping of the photos once delivered. Galleries are posted for one year. 


15. I do ask for clients to kindly tag me when sharing their photos on social media if possible. That helps me more than you know!


Most importantly! I want to capture memories that make you feel, that tell part of your story and that you cherish forever! I am so beyond thankful for this opportunity to work with you!

The Location | Added details

+ Your Session will be happening at your home! Inside or outside, anywhere!
+ Make it special for you and your family, there is no one answer here!
+ Let me know in advance if you need me to do anything or bring anything extra for your session, larger needs will be added to the invoice.
+Dogs/pets are welcome!
+ Don't worry about making everything perfect, and clean! We will make it a fun time of memories, regardless of messes!
+Think on your Holiday Traditions and what matters to you!

So now what?


Let's go over how to rock your session, a quick talk on outfits! Below are outfit and session tips!

Let's Talk Outfits!


+ what you wear will depend largely on "feel" you are going for! Wanting classy? Go with dressier feels! Calm feels? neutral tones, linens and soft fabrics! Keep it casual?! just come in something comfy!

Vintage? how about some larger simple patters, stripes, a plaid dress? So many endless options!

+ The location will of course be your home so something that feels right to you is important! and if we are doing a special activity totally dress the part! (decorating the tree, lighting candles, hot cocoa, the options are endless!)

+think, what do I feel comfortable to move in? if it isn't comfy to move in, it might not be the right outfit for our session.

+When in doubt, more neutral colors are great, especially in home, however I also love color haha! So really there is no wrong answer

+ All this said, I am not in the business of "telling" you what to wear, I want you to feel like YOU, I want these memories to be something YOU cherish! HOWEVER, the patterns you wear can change the overall look and feel of your session!

+ Choose something you feel comfortable and confident in! 

+ If for a family shoot, Sometimes choosing one person's outfit and building from there helps. Usually, I recommend choosing an outfit for the most difficult to dress person first (I am the most difficult in my family!)

+ Choose patterns or just colors you love. When you feel good in your outfit it translates into the photo!

+ Mix and match! have some in patterns and some in solid colors if you want!! Mix checkers, with solids and even stripes

+ Remember this is just a guide, change it up if you’d like!

+ think of what “feel” you want with your session, moody? Fun? Calm? Lightness or dark colors and patterns help with that!

+I am always here for more personalized help and can make you a style board! Don't be afraid to ask!

Some things to steer away from


+graphic tees or large logos on shirts (though sometimes needed for the feel of the session etc like cool band tees and denim you know! )

+Something that could distort in your camera like extremely small patterns etc!

+clothing that is restrictive or makes you feel not confident, unable to move, or too tight etc.

+everyone wearing the same color or pattern like all black shirts or all plaid
